THE STORY OF DOCA
Doca Pet was founded in 2008, inspired by the Kourtidi family's deep love for animals. Since then, the company’s primary goal has been to meet the needs of pet owners by offering high-quality, flavorful pet food products that are proudly Greek-made. In 2010, significant investments in logistics, equipment, and infrastructure enabled the company to take its first major steps toward achieving this goal. By 2011, following extensive research and testing, Doca Pet launched its first recipes, developed in close collaboration with expert nutritionists and veterinarians.
The Doca Pet product line hit the market in 2012, quickly expanding to include a variety of delicious options suitable for companion cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. The positive reception from customers fueled Doca Pet's rapid growth, and by 2016, the company had established over 600 partnerships across Greece and Europe. This growth momentum continued in the following years, prompting a strategic expansion in 2020 of their state-of-the-art, privately-owned facilities in Larissa to keep up with increasing demand.
Since 2023, the third generation of the Kourtidi family has taken over the business, staying true to the original vision and passion for animal welfare. They are dedicated to continuously improving the company's services and expanding the reach of Doca Pet's products globally, leveraging two key B2B sales points to achieve this goal.
